Varinderjit Singh, Country General Manager, Lenovo Malaysia

Varinderjit joined Lenovo in 2019 as the Country General Manager of Lenovo Malaysia. He leads the consumer and commercial segments including the full spectrum of end-to-end solutions from consumer tablets and PCs, to commercial products for larger-scale business implementations. One of Varinderjit’s key focus is driving the adoption of Lenovo’s managed services and “Device-as-a-Service” solutions.

Additionally, Varinderjit also manages the business objectives and relationships with channel partners of Retail and Commercial Enterprise as well as Small & Medium Enterprises to ensure Lenovo continues to perform strongly.

In his role, Varinderjit is leading the charge in Malaysia to bring “Smarter Technology For All” through Lenovo’s innovative products and solutions while keeping customers at the heart of everything.

Before joining Lenovo, Varin was the Managing Director for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, based in Malaysia. He has also previously overseen markets such as Asia, the United States, and Europe. He started his career as Systems Engineer at Mesiniaga Malaysia and has since worked at other global technology companies include 3Com, NEC Computers, Dell, Samsung, and Microsoft. Varin has over 28 years experience in the technology industry.

Yih Khai Wong is a senior research manager for IDC Asia/Pacific’s Cybersecurity practice, supporting cybersecurity research and client engagements through the Asia/Pacific Security Opportunities: Trust and Resilience program. Yih Khai’s area of focus is on security technologies, including cloud-native application protection, identity, endpoint and network security. He works closely with technology vendors and buyers, delivering actionable market insights and advice within the cybersecurity ecosystem.

Before rejoining IDC, Yih Khai was a principal analyst covering the cloud, datacenter, and edge computing market with ABI Research. Prior to that, Yih Khai was in EY, in his capacity as an assistant director at EY’s research and insights group. Yih Khai started his analyst career with IDC Malaysia as an analyst covering the enterprise applications market.

With over 15 years in cybersecurity, Jason Siew serves as a Senior Solutions Engineer at SentinelOne, supporting customers across the APJ region. Their expertise spans endpoint security (EDR/XDR), Security Service Edge (SSE), and SOC design and operations. Jason partners with security leaders and practitioners to align strategy with hands‑on implementation—hardening endpoints, integrating SSE controls, and streamlining SOC processes for faster detection and response. They bring deep field experience across industries, translating complex technical requirements into pragmatic architectures, runbooks, and measurable outcomes. Jason frequently advises on SOC modernization, incident response readiness, and secure cloud‑edge adoption to reduce risk and operational burden.
