Yeşim Öztürk
Yeşim Araç joined IDC in 2013 as an analyst responsible for software and IT services. She oversees research and consulting activities in enterprise applications, security and management software, application development and deployment, and system infrastructure software. Additionally, she supports research and consulting activities in IT services. Before joining IDC, Araç worked as a Software Product Manager at 4S Bilgi Teknolojileri, a well-known system integrator in Turkey. She was responsible for providing pre-sales support to the sales team for software solutions from vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, HP, IBM, EMC, VMware, and Citrix. She conducted product comparisons and competitive analyses to offer the best solutions to 4S’s clients and shared opportunities regarding global and local software market trends and strategic insights with senior management. Yeşim Araç holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Başkent University. She began her career at Atlastek as a sales engineer, managing the sales and customer relations of ready-made software products.
