From Containers to Business Continuity: Kasten and the Future of Data Protection
Containers now run the business — but most organizations still protect them like an afterthought. This session explores the resilience gap between traditional backup practices and the dynamic, application-centric nature of Kubernetes environments, and why business continuity — not just backup — is the real goal. We’ll look at how Veeam Kasten closes that gap through application-aware, policy-driven protection, and walk through a real-world disaster recovery deployment built on OpenShift and Kasten across two sites. Attendees will leave with practical lessons on RPO/RTO planning, replica consistency, and DR testing that apply directly to their own Kubernetes environments.
