European Utilities Xchange
From Progress to Precision
The Next Phase of the Energy Transition Demands Precision
The energy transition is no longer defined by ambition or momentum alone. Progress has been made and it is undeniable, but progress by itself is no longer enough. Today, the challenge facing European utilities is one of precision.
Energy systems are becoming more dynamic, distributed, and complex. Electrification is accelerating, renewable integration is deepening, and AI is moving into operational reality. Demand, from datacenters to prosumers, is reshaping the grid in real time. In this new era, success will not be measured by how much progress is achieved, but by how precisely it is orchestrated.
Utilities must lead with clarity and control. The future belongs to those who can move from reactive to predictive, and ultimately to precise. The IDC European Utilities Xchange 2027 will bring together industry leaders to explore how to master this next phase of the transition, turning complexity into coordination, data into decisions, and innovation into impact. Because the future of energy will not be defined by progress alone, but by the precision with which it is delivered.
