Alen Bohcelyan

Adam Lalani
Adam Lalani serves as the CTO of Alliad, one of the world’s leading providers of supply chain services. He is an award-winning digital transformation and information security strategist who led the development of the GCC’s first production grade supply chain blockchain platform. Early in his career, Adam worked for one of the U.K.’s oldest high street chains where he was tasked with a Y2K driven phase-out of old IBM AS/400 mainframes. He then worked on an automation project for 150 stores across the U.K. Later, he worked as the IT manager for Europe and the Middle East for the steel trading subsidiary of Arcelor Mittal (Macsteel) before joining ESHIPS, the Gulf region’s largest private ship owner. Adam subsequently worked for Tristar, the City of Westminster, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and Worldwide Flight Services. He is a certified ITILv3 Expert, a PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner, and a member of the British Computer Society.

Alejandro Cadenas
Alejandro brings over 25 years of experience in technological innovation, telecommunications, and digital transformation. As Associate VP at IDC, he advises leading telecom companies in Europe and globally on technology and innovation strategies. He has held key roles at Ericsson and Telefónica, leading global teams and developing IoT and 5G solutions with a strong focus on analytics, IoT, and advanced connectivity. His expertise ranges from 3G network planning and architecture innovation to creating value-driven IoT products and strategic data monetization.
With a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering, an Executive MBA, and executive education from MIT and Berkeley, he combines deep technical expertise—holding over 10 technology granted patents—with strategic vision. His mentorship of startups and role as a professor and speaker in various forums underscore his commitment to fostering digital transformation, analytics, and intrapreneurship, contributing significantly to the global tech ecosystem.

Ali El Kontar, Founder and CEO of Zero&One, has over two decades of IT and Telecom expertise. His dedication to technology, knowledge sharing, and fostering talent underscores a people-centric approach. Leading Zero&One, he positioned it as the first AWS partner in MENA, attracting PwC investment and securing a 5-year strategic agreement with AWS. Ali envisions Zero&One as a dynamic force, anchored in a people-centric philosophy.

Allan Cockriel
Allan Cockriel is Vice President & CIO Global Functions & Chief Information Security Officer for Shell since July 2020. He is part of the Executive Leadership Team of the IT Function.
In his current role, Allan leads the IT organisation to ensure maximum business value delivery through complex digital transformations across all Corporate Functions; and oversees the continuous improvement of the Information Risk and Cyber Security posture for Shell. Allan is an executive IT leader with over 19 years of IT and business transformation experience. He has built and lead diverse global organisations to deliver business productivity, complex digital transformations, embedding of IT controls and cyber security rigour.
Prior to joining Shell, Allan was Group CIO of Petrofac for two years. Before that Allan spent 14 years with General Electric and had a diverse career in financial, operational and senior IT leadership roles in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, India, and Angola. Allan, who holds dual US/UK nationality, has degrees in Management Information Systems, Corporate Finance, and Risk Management from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management.
He is married to Fara, and they have two children. Outside work, he enjoys cooking, travel, hiking and listening to TED talks.
