David Tan is the Chief Data Officer at Income Insurance, where he leads enterprise data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) strategy and capability development. He works with business and technology leaders to harness data and AI to drive transformation, strengthen operational effectiveness, and support sustainable growth.

David has extensive experience in technology strategy and transformation across the banking and insurance sectors in Asia Pacific. His experience across distribution, marketing, risk management, operations, and strategy enables integrated, enterprise-wide data and AI transformation. He was named CIO/CDO of the Year 2024 by IDC Asia Pacific in recognition of his leadership.
