Towards more flexible and sustainable IT management: the evolution of the Device-as-a-Service model and the importance of TCO

Overview

The rapid adoption of digital technologies and the growing ubiquity of IT devices have forced companies to address increasingly complex, often unforeseen, challenges in managing IT and the lifecycle of their devices.

When it comes to device management, the DaaS (Device-as-a-Service) model is now widespread, but with significant room for optimization. One in two companies plans to expand their DaaS approach in the next 12 months to meet the need to better manage IT assets while simultaneously outsourcing their day-to-day management.

The “TrueScale Device as a Service” service was created specifically to focus on realigning IT management costs, flexibility in device management, employee productivity, and sustainability.

Why Attend?

IDC and Lenovo invite you to this special Lunch Roundtable, where you will have the opportunity to meet industry experts and engage with other digital leaders on topics such as:

• The role of technology in the employee experience,

• Best practices for IT management optimization and innovation, Total Cost Ownership (TCO), and its impact on financial resources,

• Device-as-a-Service for greater flexibility and sustainability.

Key Topics

Optimizing IT management costs

How can you reduce IT management costs while improving efficiency and sustainability?

Flexibility and productivity

How to improve device management flexibility and increase employee productivity?

The evolution of the Digital Workplace: artificial intelligence, data value and security

Logo

Artificial intelligence and the transformation of the Digital Workplace: new skills and advanced security.

In recent years the world of work has undergone drastic changes, on the one hand companies must manage a more distributed workforce both at a national level (smart working) and at an international level (relocation and new markets to manage), on the other a consolidation of functions to achieve cost savings.

The aforementioned changes have a significant impact in terms of workload and skills required which requires external help with management.

The continuous evolution and technological innovation introduced by artificial intelligence (AI) is profoundly supporting companies’ operating methods, but the skills and professional experience required make collaboration with a credible partner necessary.

In 2025, almost 60% of Italian companies will be called upon to invest in intelligent technologies to improve your digital environment to support employees, to improve collaboration in a flexible working context. Guaranteeing safe, flexible, innovative and personalized work experiences is an essential necessity for a modern company projected towards the future. And finding the right partner to undertake or revitalize a successful Digital Workplace Transformation path is essential.

Future-Ready Infrastructures: Enabling AI and Workload Modernization

Logo Logo

Future-Ready Infrastructures: Enabling AI and Workload Modernization

Infrastructure and platforms are the fundamental building blocks for digital businesses today, making their reliability, stability and business value a key C-suite priority. With AI appearing everywhere, infrastructure must be flexible and agile to support innovation, while maintaining the desired level of control and risk mitigation across all environments. But are enterprises’ infrastructures ready for this AI-enabled future?

There are many aspects of infrastructure modernisation to consider in transitioning to a future-ready state. Getting the balance right between on-premises private cloud and public cloud infrastructure is critical, with most enterprises recognising a hybrid model as key to success. Modernising workloads to take advantage of cloud services can be a challenge, but one that will deliver optimal outcomes. Many enterprises also worry about perceived risks as they migrate to the public cloud: how do they avoid losing visibility and control? How do they maintain the operational consistency and familiarity they value from their on-premises environments in a public cloud environment? What new security risks accompany the public cloud, and could public cloud actually be an answer to security concerns? What sovereignty concerns emerge, both regulatory and self-imposed?

Join IDC, Google Cloud and Broadcom to discuss questions such as: How can you effectively modernise workloads and extend your on-premises infrastructure to the public cloud while maintaining the operational familiarity and control you depend on? What are the consequences of persisting with operationally siloed and aging infrastructure? How can you evaluate the benefits of extending to the public cloud, and what’s the best way to shape your strategy? These are just a few of the key topics that will be explored during this exclusive dinner. The event offers a unique opportunity to engage with industry experts, exchange perspectives, and, most importantly, share your own experiences.

At this Roundtable we’ll explore:

  • Are our current infrastructures ready for the future? What challenges and risks exist in addressing infrastructure modernisation?
  • What are the business drivers for infrastructure and workload modernisation? And how can a unified approach enable seamless integration with cloud services, including AI, to accelerate your organization’s needs and ambitions.
  • What does the optimal future state of infrastructure look like – one that combines the familiarity of private cloud with the agility of public cloud-and how do we achieve it?

Navigating Digital Transformation, Resilience, and Security in Financial Services

Logo

Financial organizations are dependent upon increasingly complex technology systems to meet evolving customer demands, regulatory requirements, and competitive pressures. Yet disruptions, whether from compliance failures, cyberattacks, or system outages—can have catastrophic consequences; from financial penalties to reputational damage or even loss of business licensure.

Overview

The financial services industry is transforming at an unprecedented pace, and senior executives face critical questions every day as they shape the future of their organizations:

  • How can we drive greater agility and innovation?
  • How do we streamline operations to remove barriers to growth?
  • How do we ensure resilience amid disruption and an evolving threat landscape?
  • How can we expand our product portfolio through partner collaboration?
  • And most critically, how do we protect operations from cyber threats while innovating at scale to stay ahead of the competition?

Resilience is no longer optional; it’s essential. Resilient systems empower financial organizations to adapt in adverse conditions and help build trust with stakeholders, customers, and regulators. And the answer? That lies in a robust cyber-resilience strategy built on a Zero Trust framework.

As financial institutions embrace data sharing and expand via ecosystem partnerships, mastering trust becomes both a cornerstone and a challenge. Trust must be validated, verified, and seamlessly integrated while preserving efficiency. A Zero Trust approach enables partnerships, treats legacy systems strategically, drives business transformation, and mitigates risks to manageable levels.

Join us as our expert panel explores how regulatory compliance, advanced data security, and Zero Trust frameworks don’t just mitigate risks—they unlock competitive advantage, enabling financial organizations to innovate securely and thrive in today’s fast-evolving FinServ landscape.

Why Attend?

Join us for this Financial Services expert panel, where IDC analysts and industry experts will address the critical challenges facing senior executives within financial services today. Discover how to drive agility and innovation, streamline operations for growth, and build resilience against disruptions in an evolving threat landscape. Learn to protect your organization from cyber threats while expanding your product portfolio through strategic partnerships and a Zero Trust framework. This event offers invaluable insights into regulatory compliance and advanced data security, equipping you with the tools to unlock competitive advantages and thrive in the fast-paced financial services industry. IDC finds that 7 out of 10 IT and business leaders cite data silos as their biggest challenge in supporting security and operations use cases, highlighting the urgent need for unified data orchestration.

Digital enterprises’ business outcomes depend on data. But enterprise data is more critical and more complex than ever and the ability to deliver trusted, timely data across hybrid environments is now a strategic imperative. As organizations scale AI and analytics, fragmented systems and manual workflows are slowing progress. IDC finds that 7 out of 10 IT and business leaders cite data silos as their biggest challenge in supporting security and operations use cases, highlighting the urgent need for unified data orchestration.

Tool sprawl compounds the challenge, with enterprises using an average of 15 different monitoring and observability tools, leading to fragmented workflows, manual handoffs and increased risk. These inefficiencies are especially problematic in hybrid and multi-cloud environments, where visibility and control are often limited.

Join this exclusive roundtable to hear from IDC, BMC, and Tiberone as they explore how leading organizations are tackling these challenges.  Learn how to orchestrate data workflows, automate delivery, and build scalable, resilient operations across hybrid environments. And gain practical insight to improve data delivery and reduce manual effort.

Key Topics

Join this interactive, peer-led conversation to gain practical insight to improve data delivery and reduce manual effort.

  1. Understanding the Impact of Data FragmentationThis focuses on uncovering the pain points and operational inefficiencies caused by fragmented data environments.
  2. Strategies for Orchestration and IntegrationThis explores how organizations are solving fragmentation through orchestration, automation, and integration across legacy and modern platforms.
  3. Measuring the Value of OrchestrationThis helps participants think about how to quantify the benefits of orchestration and automation, and how to track progress toward a unified data strategy.

In collaborazione con

Logo Logo Logo

  3. KPI e Risultati: Misurare il Valore dell’Orchestrazione – Questo punto aiuta i partecipanti a riflettere su come quantificare i benefici dell’orchestrazione e dell’automazione, e su come monitorare i progressi verso una strategia dati unificata.
