Chen Hong
Chen Hong is the CIO of Singtel Singapore, where she is accountable for all aspects of IT. As CIO, she provides strategic guidance on Singtel Singapore’s IT infrastructure, systems, and digital initiatives. With over three decades of experience in the telecommunications and technology industry, she has been at the forefront of spearheading transformative initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation across geographical regions. Known for her passion for collaborating with teams to solve complex problems and pushing the boundaries in IT, she also actively mentors aspiring technologists and shares her insights at industry conferences as an ardent advocate for diversity and inclusion. Chris Chau
Chris has been serving in the Public Service for about 30 years. He currently serves as CIO of A*STAR and is responsible for IT, digitalisation and cybersecurity in the organisation that is home to some 30 research institutes and national platforms performing research and technology translation, in disciplines ranging from genomics, cellular biology and drug discovery at one end of the spectrum, to high performance computing, robotics and advanced manufacturing to the other. Earlier in his career Chris had served as the Assistant CIO of MINDEF, CIO of DSTA, CIO of the Ministry of Communications & Information (MCI) and CIO of IDA.
Tam Trinh
Tam Trinh serves as chief data and analytics officer at Nikel, a financial technology firm specializing in risk management solutions for banks and fintechs in emerging markets. With nearly 20 years of experience in financial services, she has deep expertise in risk modeling, data analytics, and digital transformation. She is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Department of Analytics and Operations at the NUS Business School. Throughout her career, Tam has held key leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank, DBS, Moody’s Analytics, and Oliver Wyman, where she spearheaded initiatives in risk product development, risk modeling, and financial technology innovation. Her work focuses on leveraging AI/ML-driven analytics to enhance credit risk assessment, fraud detection, and financial inclusion, particularly in markets with evolving digital infrastructure. In recognition of her contributions to data and analytics, Tam was awarded the CIO100 ASEAN Award in 2024.
Tan Shui-Min
Tan Shui-Min has held the position of CITO at the National University of Singapore (NUS) since 2020. She first joined NUS in 2016 as director of applications, overseeing the creation, delivery, and support of applications from all business domains, including education, research, and administration. As CITO, she plays a vital role in strategic planning, guiding daily operations and implementing campus-wide IT policies. Tan has transformed the IT team to adopt Agile methodology, strengthened the enterprise architecture, and developed a next-gen infrastructure to achieve evolutionary development and dexterity. She believes in and has been instrumental in the innovative deployment of cutting-edge technology to enable the business and advance the university’s foray into the digital future!
Tomasz Kurczyk
Tomasz Kurczyk is the Chief Information Technology Officer at Prudential Singapore and the Head of the Prudential Group AI Lab. In this role, Tomasz oversees the company’s technology, data, and AI functions, driving digital and AI capabilities to accelerate business growth and transformation. Tomasz began his career as a serial entrepreneur, followed by professional and leadership experience across multiple industries and over 20 countries. He has built and grown large-scale businesses, products, teams, and digital platforms, including over a decade in the insurance industry.
Before joining Prudential, Tomasz served as the Chief Digital and Transformation Officer at AXA in Singapore.
In addition to his corporate roles, Tomasz is an active advisor to startups and an angel investor, contributing significantly to the development of the Singapore FinTech ecosystem.
A Polish national, Tomasz holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an MSc in Computer Systems from Politecnico di Milano.
Frankie Shuai
Frankie is an award-winning Technology Executive & Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with over two decades leadership experience in the financial & IT Industry. He is heading APAC regional information security in one of global largest asset managers in the financial industry. Prior to this, he headed cyber & technology risk at UBS (world largest private bank) covering Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. He has also worked in Citibank, Microsoft and HP before. He has been featured on Nasdaq Tower of New York Times Square as 2024 “Global CISO 100” award winner and featured on cover page of Enterprise Security Magazine (2022 APAC special edition).
He is a frequent speaker about cybersecurity & emerging technology in the industry leading forums organized by IDC/IDG, Reuters, The Asian Banker (TAB), Asian Banking & Finance (ABF), Asia Risk, Economic Times (ET), etc. In 2024, he has also been invited by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras to deliver speech in their 25th annual tech festival in Chennai India and also been invited by Central Bank of Indonesia to deliver the speech in their summit in Jakarta Indonesia.
He is also a digital transformation and innovation catalyst with patent about next generation wireless networking filed at United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) as the sole inventor and his patent has been cited by other tech companies including Intel and Ericsson.

Karen Tan
Karen is the current Chief Information Officer (CIO) for DHL Express Singapore with over 20 years of experience at DHL across various functions. Prior to taking up this role in May 2021, Karen was the VP for Operations Programs at DHL Express APeC Regional Business IT team, responsible for managing systems beta and pilot projects for the Operations team across the region and deployment of DHL global applications to various countries in Asia Pacific (excluding China) .
In the past 4 years as CIO, Karen had vastly improved the cross-functional collaboration and communication of the entire Singapore IT team, raising the awareness on data protection and information security throughout the organization and establishing a Digitalisation framework for the country. The improved employee engagement & leadership scores within her team is a testament to her commitment in keeping the team engaged and motivated while focusing on individual development through upskilling, network assignment and stretch assignments within the DHL network.
Also taking on the role of DHL Express Singapore’s Data Protection Officer (DPO), Karen helms the data protection efforts in Singapore, ensuring compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), working together with global DPO and Legal teams to review and implement policies and processes for handling personal data.

Daniel-Zoe Jimenez
Daniel-Zoe Jimenez is Associate Vice President for IDC’s Asia/Pacific region, based in Singapore. He leads the regional Digital Transformation (DX), Future Enterprise and SMB research practices.
Daniel provides strategic advisory services to the C-Suite (CIOs, CDOs, CMOs, CHROs and CFOs) on how to develop and leverage new business, technology (e.g. AI and Analytics, Cloud, Mobility, IoT) and operating models to become more competitive. He delivers workshops and strategic engagements for customers across Asia/Pacific such as assessing maturity, identifying gaps, crafting strategies and technology roadmaps, determining ecosystem readiness, metrics (KPIs), and skills required to drive growth and profitability.

Shan Moorthy
Shan Moorthy, Workday’s APAC Chief Technology Offier, spearheads digital transformation. He’s a proven IT leader, having served as CTO and CDO, successfully replacing legacy systems with cloud platforms across ANZ and APAC’s media, retail, banking, and telecommunications sectors. Based in Melbourne, he blends deep technical knowledge in software, data, and AI with strong business strategy and commercial insight.
Mohan Veloo
Based in Singapore, Mohan Veloo is the Field Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Asia-Pacific, China, and Japan (APCJ). He is tasked with setting F5’s technology vision for the region as the company continues to revolutionize application security within modern infrastructure landscapes. With over two decades of experience in the information technology scene, Mohan is a seasoned senior executive with a strong passion for applications and what it takes to connect, secure, and run them.
Mohan has held senior leadership roles in solutions engineering across several leading technology providers. He brings deep experience in application, networking and security technologies and architectures. Prior to his current role, he was the Vice President of Solutions Consulting at cloud security provider Zscaler. He also previously had more than a decade-long tenure at F5, first as Vice President of Solutions Engineering for APCJ, then as Vice President of Global Solutions Engineering. Mohan also spent over a decade at Oracle, most recently as Head of Sales Consulting for Asia Pacific and Japan.
Mohan holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Business from Indiana University Bloomington in the United States.
In his free time, Mohan volunteers often and has been a member of Sree Narayana Mission’s Digital Transformation Sub-Committee since 2020.
Himanshu Kathpal
Himanshu Kathpal is the VP of Product Management, Platform and Technologies at Qualys. With over 14 years of experience in cybersecurity and product management, he specializes in vulnerability management, remediation, and next-generation endpoint security. Himanshu is passionate about developing security solutions that align with Qualys’ cybersecurity product strategy to enhance customer security, reduce attack surfaces, and strengthen organizational security posture. He holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from D.Y. Patil University, Pune, and an MBA in International Business Management from NMIMS, Mumbai.
Gibu Kurian Mathew
Gibu Mathew is vice president and GM, Asia Pacific, for Zoho Corp. He has been working with Zoho for over 20 years, leading product management, marketing and architecting software products for many of the company’s cloud and on-premise solutions. By overseeing to a go-to-market strategy that prioritizes product localization, Mathew currently focuses on ensuring product success across the APAC market, with a special focus on non-English markets.

Neil Harbisson
Neil Harbisson is a Catalan-raised, British-born contemporary artist and cyborg activist best known for having an antenna implanted in his skull and for being officially recognized as a cyborg by a government. The antenna allows him to perceive visible and invisible colors via audible vibrations in his skull, including infrareds and ultraviolets, as well as receive colors from space, images, videos, music, or phone calls directly into his head via an internet connection. Harbisson identifies as a cyborg and feels that he is technology. His artwork explores identity, human perception, the connection between sight and sound, and the use of artistic expression via new sensory inputs. In 2010, he co¬-founded the Cyborg Foundation with Moon Ribas, an international organization that helps humans become cyborgs and promotes cyborg art.

Tony Kang
Tony Kang has over 20 years of experience in the business industry and possesses very strong and effective leadership skills, which led him to become the Business Vice President for the Singapore & Brunei cluster in the Secure Power Division at Schneider Electric. In this role, he is responsible for the P&L of Singapore & Brunei in the Secure Power Division covering Data Center and IT business.
His broad expertise in business development has significantly contributed to East Asia’s double-digit sales growth in commercial and industrial segments over the last two years, achieved through pursuing DC and IT infrastructure sales opportunities via Electrical channels to increase market share.

Tan Shui-Min
Tan Shui-Min has held the position of CITO at the National University of Singapore (NUS) since 2020. She first joined NUS in 2016 as director of applications, overseeing the creation, delivery, and support of applications from all business domains, including education, research, and administration. As CITO, she plays a vital role in strategic planning, guiding daily operations and implementing campus-wide IT policies. Chris has been serving in the Public Service for about 30 years. He currently serves as CIO of A*STAR and is responsible for IT, digitalisation and cybersecurity in the organisation that is home to some 30 research institutes and national platforms performing research and technology translation, in disciplines ranging from genomics, cellular biology and drug discovery at one end of the spectrum, to high performance computing, robotics and advanced manufacturing to the other. Earlier in his career Chris had served as the Assistant CIO of MINDEF, CIO of DSTA, CIO of the Ministry of Communications & Information (MCI) and CIO of IDA.

Tam Trinh serves as chief data and analytics officer at Nikel, a financial technology firm specializing in risk management solutions for banks and fintechs in emerging markets. With nearly 20 years of experience in financial services, she has deep expertise in risk modeling, data analytics, and digital transformation. She is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Department of Analytics and Operations at the NUS Business School. Throughout her career, Tam has held key leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank, DBS, Moody’s Analytics, and Oliver Wyman, where she spearheaded initiatives in risk product development, risk modeling, and financial technology innovation. Her work focuses on leveraging AI/ML-driven analytics to enhance credit risk assessment, fraud detection, and financial inclusion, particularly in markets with evolving digital infrastructure. In recognition of her contributions to data and analytics, Tam was awarded the CIO100 ASEAN Award in 2024.
Jawwad Zaki
Jawwad Zaki has worked with different service providers and suppliers across Asian telecom markets for over two decades. He has looked after roles involving planning, operations, optimization, project management, digital transformation and strategy execution. He is currently based in Singapore, working with Telenor as an IT Director in Group Technology. In his most recent roles Jawwad has led cross-business unit portfolio & performance management for IT and has participated in transformation & digitalization initiatives for Asian OpCos. He is currently also part of Telenor’s AI First programme.

Sonny returned to Indonesia in July 2019 after spending 20 years living and working in the UK.
