Alberto Arellano
As Director Infrastructure for Latin America , Alberto is responsible for collecting and analyzing market trends to provide clients with an unbiased and accurate view of the technology trends impacting the local market and measuring the adoption of new technologies. Working for IDC since 2016, its areas of expertise include Telecommunication Services, Security Appliances, Networking equipment and Unified Communications and Collaboration.
BACKGROUND
Prior to his experience at IDC, Alberto worked 3 years for Televisa Telecom, a Mexican media and telecom services company, first as a Market Intelligence Manager on Bestel, after this as Marketing Budget Controller on I zzi T elecom, collaborating on the analysis of key market trends to developing new products and the development of market strategies. Previously, he worked for 3 years as a market analyst, for a local consulting firm.

Alberto has a b achelor’s degree in E conomics from National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) with a specialization on B usiness E conomics.
