IDC Keynote: Resilience and Uncertainty: The Priorities and Pain Points of European Security Leaders in 2025-26
The European cyber security environment has been volatile in 2025, with major incidents making headlines amidst broader economic and political turmoil.
IDC research shows that cyber security budgets are under increasing pressure, but how might this change as we finish the year and move into 2026? What products and services are European CISOs prioritizing for investment, and how might their internal and external challenges evolve from recent years? And what effect is regulation – for example, NIS2 and DORA – having on the maturity of in-scope organizations?
Drawing on insight from IDC data and engagement with CISOs, this presentation offers insights on how European cyber security leaders are managing risk in a moment of heightened uncertainty, and the actions they are taking to strengthen resilience.
