Celebrating 11 years of thought leadership, the IDC CIO Summit – Egypt returns on 29 April 2026 in Cairo City as Egypt’s premier gathering of technology decision-makers.
Egypt’s CIOs are standing at the center of a national transformation. With the launch of the second edition of the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy (2025–2030), the country is accelerating its vision to become a regional hub for AI innovation and digital excellence. Along with the country’s Digital Egypt initiative, this ambitious strategy focuses on governance, technology, data, infrastructure, ecosystem, and talent, aiming to raise AI’s contribution to GDP to $42.7 billion by 2030.
For enterprise technology leaders, this creates a rare opportunity to align business strategy with national purpose. As AI adoption matures from generative pilots to agentic AI workflows that drive autonomous decision-making, CIOs have the mandate to modernize infrastructure, harness data intelligently, and embed ethical governance into AI operations.
The 2026 IDC Egypt CIO Summit will bring together Egypt’s technology and policy leaders to discuss how CIOs can scale AI responsibly, overcome infrastructure and talent challenges, and unlock measurable business and societal impact as Egypt shapes its digital future.
