Alex worked in the oil and gas industry in the United Arab Emirates, focusing on quality control and inspection, and has worked on the Onshore Gas Development (OGD) projects in Habshan, UAE.

After a brief stint in the USA working with MRO Software on Maximo B2B projects, Alex then joined Mideast Data Systems / eSolutions and has been working with Maximo for the last 25 years covering many regional implementations.  During this time, he has worked on major Maximo implementation projects in oil and gas, utilities, military logistics, and others.

Hani Obeid is an Innovative Digital Transformation Executive with a proven track record of ideating, developing and delivering data driven digital offerings for both public and private sector stakeholders across various global markets. He has experience in executing comprehensive data driven offerings and strategies that integrate IoT, AI, and big data analytics to achieve sustainable outcomes.

Currently Hani is the VP of Business Development & Advisory at Picacity AI, focused on digital transformation initiatives in Picacity’s target markets. Hani is accountable for driving the company’s business development and advisory activities in MENA and international markets, including Asia Pacific, Africa, CIS, and the Americas.

An Innovative Digital Transformation Executive , Hani boasts a reputable career of over 30 years across various industry verticals focusing on Digitalization and Smart Cities. Chris Genin is the Global VP Asset Management for DP World Ports & Terminals. 

Marine Terminals are asset intensive and DP World’s global network represents an investment of tens of billions in equipment and infrastructure. But the value these assets deliver far exceeds their replacement value.  A great example of this is Jebel Ali and the surrounding free zone (JAFZA).  With over 100 cranes and five terminals, the contribution that JAFZA makes to the overall economy of the UAE is significant.  DP World has been using Maximo for over 25 years in some of its terminals and has recently been consolidating all their Ports & Terminals assets into a single Maximo instance using IBMs SaaS offering.
