Prior to joining IDC, Mr. Wu worked successively at the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, China Hewlett-Packard Co., Ltd., and Jardine Pacific (JOS) Information Technology Co., Ltd., where he accumulated 9 years of work experience in the IT and telecommunications fields.
Mr. Wu obtained a bachelor’s degree in Microwave Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, a master’s degree in Engineering from the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, and completed MBA courses at the University of International Business and Economics.

As IDC China’s managing director, Kitty Fok leads the IDC China Business Unit with a team of over 50 specialized analysts and oversees all research processes for the Greater China region. Kitty’s expertise includes an in-depth understanding of the IT market with a focus on emerging markets, China government agenda, as well as the fundamentals of forecasting, business development, and strategic planning/analysis. Since joining IDC in 1996, Kitty’s involvement in Asia/Pacific PC market analysis and end-user research has contributed to numerous region-wide consulting efforts, specifically in the area of hardware computing trends in Asia/Pacific. Kitty is a frequently featured speaker at various industry events and she has been invited to appear on BBC, Bloomberg, CNN and CNBC. Her opinions have also been published in publications including the Asian Wall Street Journal, South China Morning Post, ComputerWorld, and China Daily. Prior to joining IDC, Kitty was an analyst with Gartner Dataquest.
Kitty has a Higher Diploma in Mathematics, Statistics and Computing, from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a Master’s of Science in Management Science (Operational Research) from Lancaster University, United Kingdom.

Xiangyang Liu
Liu Xiangyang currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Midea Group and Dean of the Software Engineering Institute, overseeing the group’s information security infrastructure and cloud-based digital platform development.
Liu Xiangyang is a Member of the European Academy of Sciences, IEEE Fellow, IET Fellow, ACM Distinguished Scientist, and AAIA Fellow. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006. Previously, he held positions as Tenure-Track Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Full Professor at Michigan State University, and served as Chief Scientist at Ant Group.
His accolades include the IEEE & IFIP William C. Carter Award, the NSF CAREER Award, and the Withrow Distinguished Scholar Award from Michigan State University. His research spans information security, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, mobile computing, privacy protection, and network algorithms.
He has authored 5 English monographs and published over 300 research papers, with approximately half appearing in CCF-A ranked conferences and journals. He has also served as an editor for prestigious journals, including IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, and IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing.
