From Intelligence to Action: Grounding Agentic AI in Enterprise Reality
October 28, 2026 at 5:30 pm | New York

According to IDC research, only 24% of enterprises say their data is highly prepared for generative and agentic AI, while 45% of AI-fueled use cases are forecast to miss ROI targets by 2026. At the same time, 71% of organizations are bringing operational and analytical workloads together so AI agents can act on current data.
Join IDC, Google Cloud, SAP, and fellow C-level executives for an exclusive dinner exploring the Agentic Enterprise and how organizations can move from AI experimentation to governed, measurable business outcomes.
Through an intimate peer discussion, we’ll explore how enterprises are using Agentic AI to:
- Orchestrate core operations by turning insights into governed actions and workflows.
- Connect strategy with the supply chain by responding to disruptions, market signals, and operational constraints.
- Drive measurable cross-functional ROI by connecting AI and external signals directly to core business systems.
Discover how grounding Agentic AI in operational data, ERP, and business rules can help turn intelligence into secure, automated action and competitive advantage.
80%+ of enterprises now say
“AI agents are the new enterprise apps.”
Which of the following are the biggest data-related roadblocks your organization faces when implementing or scaling generative and agentic AI initiatives?
Data security, privacy, and compliance constraints are the leading roadblock to scaling generative and agentic AI (36%), closely followed by the high cost of preparing and serving data (34%).
The findings reveal that the biggest barriers to AI at scale are not algorithmic but foundational: organizations are being held back by the data infrastructure, governance, and cost challenges that sit beneath the model layer.
