IDC & Cornerstone Executive Roundtable
CIO Leadership: Navigating the Future of Tech, Talent, and Culture
In Partnership With
The roles of the CIO and CHRO are evolving together. As AI becomes embedded in how work gets done, workforce readiness is a shared mandate that requires them to lead together. Beyond managing technology, CIOs must accelerate AI adoption and drive business transformation. Ultimately, success depends not just on an organisation’s ability to implement technology, but on how ready its workforce is to adopt, work alongside, and derive value from it.
Across Asia/Pacific, 43.3% of organisations say skills shortages prevent them from getting full value from technology investments, and 57.4% are responding by increasing investment in AI skills development. IDC’s 2026 predictions forecast that CIOs who actively partner with their CHRO will achieve up to 30% higher productivity through better AI-human work alignment. In practice, this means CIOs and CHROs jointly understanding current capabilities, anticipating future needs, and acting before gaps become business problems.
Join IDC and Cornerstone in this focused closed-door discussion designed to translate that global thinking into the priorities most relevant to technology and HR leaders operating in Singapore and the wider region, from acute local talent competition to the pace of AI adoption across regional operating models.
