IDC, AWS and Zero&One Roundtable
Building Resilient Cloud Operations
Security, Governance, and Data Protection
Hosted By
Cloud adoption in the UAE has witnessed unprecedented growth over the last few years. What began as migration and modernization initiatives has evolved into large-scale, business-critical cloud operations that now underpin core enterprise systems and digital services.
Artificial intelligence is accelerating this shift. IDC research shows that AI is emerging as the fastest-growing cloud workload across META, expanding at close to 73% CAGR, fundamentally reshaping how organizations design and operate their cloud environments.
As cloud environments grow in scale and complexity, CIOs must move beyond simple cloud adoption – more so in the current phase of volatility. Building resilient, secure, and well-governed cloud operations is a non-negotiable in today’s context. Managing distributed workloads, protecting critical data, maintaining strong governance frameworks, and ensuring rapid recovery in the event of disruption have become essential priorities for technology leaders.
Join your peers, IDC analysts, and industry leaders for an exclusive roundtable hosted by AWS and Zero & One to explore how enterprises can strengthen cloud governance, improve security posture, and implement effective data protection and recovery frameworks while continuing to scale innovation in the cloud.

IDC Welcome & Keynote- From Adoption to Resilience: The UAE Cloud Playbook for the AI Era
Cloud has moved from a migration project to a business foundation, and AI is now redesigning how it’s built and run. This keynote maps that shift through two driving forces: adopting AI on cloud, and building cloud that is resilient, secure, and sovereign. Grounded in the latest IDC research, it distills both into a practical CIO playbook: the key questions every technology leader should be asking now, and the strategies for building a resilient AI-cloud.

DR360- From Principles to Practice
The session opens on the gap between knowing disaster recovery and doing it, then shows why every workload has its own RPO/RTO — so one strategy never fits a whole estate. It introduces DR360, ZERO&ONE’s managed DRaaS, with tiered packages covering the full DR strategy spectrum.

Open Discussion: Putting the Playbook into Practice: A Discussion on AI, Resilience, & Sovereign Cloud
This open discussion translates the playbook into practical insights for execution. The roundtable draws on three perspectives: the analyst’s view of what the evidence shows, the cloud provider’s view of what the platform makes possible, and the implementation partner’s view of what it takes to deliver. Together with the room, the panel works through the decisions that matter most: adopting AI on cloud at scale, and making cloud resilient, secure, and sovereign.
